finding the cool stuff

this year i’m *trying* to make more of an effort to buy thoughtful, personalized gifts. the challenge is, malls aren’t filled with stuff as interesting as i’d like for my friends and family. but during the past few weeks – thanks to recommendations and good old fashioned web surfing – i’ve discovered some sites that make finding gifts a little easier. here are just a few.
